Idalia Zachara, PA-C

As a first-generation American, I was always taught to work and study hard to achieve my goals. A very early goal of mine was a career in medicine, influenced by my grandparents’ passion for holistic health and my own experience with orthopedic knee surgery in middle school.

When choosing a college, I discovered the role of a PA (Physician Assistant or Associate). This route would provide me with rigorous education and training and lead me to become a licensed clinician that can practice medicine in every specialty and setting. I loved that PAs expand access to patient-centered care through interprofessional collaboration. I locked in to Valparaiso University’s 5 year Physician Assistant Program and never looked back!

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Health Science (BSHS), Minor in Biology, and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPA) from Valparaiso University. Most recently, I completed my Doctor of Medical Science (DMS) degree from Butler University. As a PA-C, I have committed to lifelong learning to better serve my practice and patients.

The upper extremity can present with a myriad of diagnoses in a wide range of patient populations. Whether working in clinic or the operating room, I enjoy helping patients regain function and relief from pain.

My philosophy of care is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and personalized treatment. I believe that every patient deserves a thoughtful and comprehensive approach that addresses their well-being overall. My goal is to educate and empower patients to be active participants in their care. Being a Chicago suburb native, I love the diversity of patients that I am able to serve. I also speak Polish and Spanish!

Along with Dr. Logli, we look forward to seeing you in our office!
