Ryan Enke, MD
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you more about myself and my experience in healthcare. I am originally from Rockford, Illinois and I earned my B.S. degree, Summa Cum Laude, in biology at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point in 2001. I continued my studies at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, obtaining my medical degree in 2005.
Following my graduation, I underwent an internship at the Kettering Medical Center, Kettering, Ohio. In addition, I completed my Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
My practice is focused on providing specialized non-operative treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and pain with the goals of restoring function and improving quality of life. I have a special interest in the treatment and rehabilitation of runners and endurance athletes, Electrodiagnostic medicine (EMGs), and comprehensive spine care and rehabilitation with interventional pain management. Watch Dr. Enke explain more about the EMG procedure.
I frequently utilize advanced ultrasound guidance to attain the most accurate benefit from joint and soft tissue injections for my patient’s pain management. It is my mission to provide all my patients excellent service, as well as compassionate care. I always strive to provide you the same high quality of orthopedic care that I would offer to a member of my family.
In addition to my extensive medical commitments, I enjoy running, camping, hiking and other outdoor activities, travel and spending time with my family. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to further improve your experience at Ortho Illinois. My goal is to provide you the best medical care available in a comfortable, nurturing environment.
I am looking forward to meeting you.
