Spine Fracture

The majority of spinal fractures occur in the thoracic (middle) and lumbar spine (lower) or at the connection of the two. Treatment depends on the severity of the fracture(s) and whether the patient has other associated injuries. Some fractures require emergency treatment, while other can be caused by the weakening of the bones due to osteoporosis.
