I very much enjoy working with orthopedic surgeons who provide care to the community. During every appointment, I take time with my patients and never want them to feel rushed. I views each one as family and always provides the best care that I can.
I knew from a young age that I wanted a career in medicine so I could help people have a better quality of life. When I was in eighth grade, my mother became ill with tuberculosis and was in isolation for an entire year at Iowa City Hospital. Each weekend, I would travel with my father to visit my mother, and I was impressed by the medical facility and care my mother received.
Ultimately, I found my passion in the surgical field and interacting with patients. In orthopedics, I am able to do both and I find it very rewarding to help people live a more fulfilling life without pain.
