Zach Bussen, PA-C
I was born and raised in the northern Illinois area and grew up in Genoa. I was very active in sports when I was younger, mostly baseball and football and experienced no shortage of injuries! I was in and out of emergency rooms and urgent care facilities and I believe this is what sparked my own desire to pursue a career in medicine.
I obtained my bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University in Biology with a focus on medical sciences. From there, I went to work as a phlebotomist to further my experience in the field. I then attended Christian Brother’s University in Memphis, TN where I received my Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree.
I believe in focusing on patient needs and making sure they are heard and that their needs are met to the fullest of my abilities. I also think every patient should be treated with empathy and have their views and opinions respected.
